Ingredients:

- 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of Skinnly Unflavored Collagen Powder*
- 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips

Use any of our premium collagen powders: Beef Collagen; Marine Collagen; Multi-Collagen

Steps:

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat well.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and collagen powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or a glass and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges. Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheet.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 15-second intervals, stirring after each one, until smooth and glossy. Transfer the melted chocolate to a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a small hole cut in one corner. Pipe thin lines across each cookie to create a spiderweb pattern.
  6. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in the same way as the dark chocolate. Transfer the melted white chocolate to another piping bag or ziplock bag. Pipe small dots of white chocolate on top of the dark chocolate lines to create spiders. Let the chocolate set before enjoying your spooky spiderweb cookies.

Enjoy this recipe and have a happy Halloween! 🎃🕷️🍪
